The Garett GTAx 400 is the smaller model in the GTAx lineup, just under the GTAx 550. Garrett has the MSRP for this detector right around $400 dollars though you should be able to find it for much cheaper. The Garrett GTAx 400 is yet another metal detector without much conversation on the internet about it. Fortunately though Lost Treasure Magazine has an archived copy of their GTAx 400 field test. The reviewer doesn't like the factory settings on the GTAx 400 so offers his tips for the ideal settings on the GTAx 400 as opposed to the factory settings.
