Yet another detector from FisherLabs designed for coin shooting is the CZ-3D. The CZ-3D however is "designed to find more coins - especially older coins at older sites!". Some of the notable features on the CZ-3D are Dual processing technology to help go deeper, enhanced target mode for more coins and relics, superior depth in mineral soils, and four tone target identification. Fisher also says the CZ-3D is a "High performance beach unit- salt mode for wet sand operation".

There is a good discussion of the Fisher CZ-3D at the Site Metal Detector Reviews. When we visited there were 11 posts rating the CZ 3D with 4.7 out of 5 stars, though ratings can happen all the time, so go leave some feedback if you know something about this metal detector. There are some great well rounded opinions on the CZ 3D with my favorite being the reviewer who mentioned the need to learn chinese if you purchase a CZ-3D, we thought it was leading towards a comment about the manual, however it refers to the ability of the CZ 3D to go very deep ;-)

Here's a good thread if you've just purchased a CZ-3D: New CZ-3D Trouble. A new owner of the CZ-3D is having trouble locating objects as simple as coins with the detector.
