The Garrett GTAx 400 is yet another metal detector without much conversation on the internet about it. Fortunately though Lost Treasure Magazine has an archived copy of their GTAx 400 field test. The begin by reviewing the key features of the metal detector then move along to a field test. The reviewer doesn't like the factory settings on the GTAx 400 so offers his tips for the ideal settings on the GTAx 400 as opposed to the factory settings. They conclude partly with "The GTAx 400 is a very solid economical Target ID detector that has excellent depth for the price."
