Here's an interesting read about the Ace 150 if you're not familiar with the Garrett brand name. A user posts that their Ace 150 was dead on arrival when receiving it, and followed by multiple opinions. The user sends the Ace 150 back to Garrett, who even though they can't find any problems with the detector, send the user a new one anyway. Wow, great customer service and a company that stands behind their products, Garrett!
