The Fisher ID Excel is one of the higher rated detectors at Metal Detector Reviews and (as of this writing) has a rating of 4.9 out of 5 stars with eight reviewers commenting. Not much in the way of tips in the reviews but one does a nice job of breaking down the metal detectors positive points and may get you more excited to get one if you're on the fence about buying a Fisher ID Excel.
