Once again the Joan Allen site has a great review of a Fisher metal detector, this time the Fisher 1270 calling the detector "the deep one". Link Here. They review the 1270 in their test bed first discussing how discrimination affects depth with the 1270 then head to the outdoors where they discuss their finds and offer a few tips. In conclusion they recommend the Fisher 1270 and in particular like the "extra" controls.
