Tom's Treasures has a review's page on various Fisher metal detectors, and one of them is a review of the Fisher 1225-X (scroll down about 1/3 page). The review isn't positive saying the metal detector is "very poorly made" and going on to describe how they believe the unit itself needs some work, the balance of the detector is bottom heavy, and the parts that make up the 1225-X are cheap as well.
